Kerfuffle Wines is situated in the hamlet of Karridale, 25km south of the Margaret River wine region. Located 33 degrees south in a temperate peninsular location, the climate and soils differ dramatically to that of the majority of vineyards to the north.

A land of rolling hills, fertile soils and beautiful forests, the extreme southwest location of Karridale provides for unusually mild weather year round, with perfect conditions for the autumnal ripening of most grape varieties.

In 1998, Kerfuffle wine producer Ben McDonald established the vineyard with an initial planting of 3.7 hectares of Merlot, 1.7 hectares of Cabernet Sauvigon, 1.8 hectares of Shiraz and 1.8 hectares of Semillon. An additional 2.6 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc were planted in 2006.

We care about the land, and our children's health, and thus we endeavour to use environmentally friendly Integrated Pest Management methods which reduce the use of pesticides by using chooks and ducks. You can find out more by clicking here.

Kerfuffle Wines is located just off the Brockman Highway, where one will find a rich collection of local artisans and wineries.
